1. Who We Are

MultiTally is operated by Braman Bookkeeping LLC (DBA MultiTally), based in Houston, Texas. We provide cross-marketplace profitability analytics for ecommerce sellers. When this policy refers to “we,” “us,” or “MultiTally,” it means Braman Bookkeeping LLC.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information — your email address and password (or Google OAuth profile) when you create an account.
  • Marketplace data — sales, fees, orders, returns, and product listings pulled from Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify via OAuth credentials you authorize.
  • Cost of goods sold (COGS) — unit costs and shipping costs you enter manually for profitability calculations.
  • Payment information — billing details processed by Stripe. We never store your full credit card number on our servers.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, and performance metrics to improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Calculate per-SKU profitability, margin analysis, and financial reports across your connected marketplaces.
  • Sync and normalize sales, fee, and return data from Amazon, Walmart, and Shopify into a unified view.
  • Process subscription payments and manage your billing.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password resets, billing receipts).
  • Monitor errors and improve product reliability.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate MultiTally:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting (your account and marketplace data).
  • Stripe — subscription billing and payment processing.
  • Cloudflare — frontend hosting, CDN, DNS, and DDoS protection.
  • Sentry — error monitoring and performance tracking (no personal data is sent to Sentry beyond anonymized error context).
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We select providers that meet industry-standard security practices.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • All marketplace OAuth credentials are encrypted at rest using Fernet symmetric encryption before being stored in our database.
  • Database access is protected by row-level security (RLS) — you can only access your own data.
  • All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit.
  • We use connection pooling with least-privilege database roles — our application never connects as a superuser.
  • Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth and never stored in plaintext.

6. Cookies

MultiTally uses a minimal set of cookies:

  • Authentication session cookie — an httpOnly, Secure cookie managed by Supabase Auth. This keeps you logged in and cannot be read by JavaScript.
  • Cloudflare analytics — Cloudflare may set a cookie for bot detection and performance analytics. No personal data is tracked.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts that follow you across other websites.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account and marketplace data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains available for 30 days so you can export it. After that period, we delete your data from our systems, including marketplace credentials and synced transaction history.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Export — download your profitability data, reports, and COGS entries.
  • Correction — update inaccurate account or COGS information.
  • Deletion — request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@multitally.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children

MultiTally is designed for business use by ecommerce sellers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of MultiTally after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
